The 2022 Season World Championship is the Main Event of the League of Legends 2022 season. There will be a total of 24 teams participating in this year's Worlds. Half of the teams will go through the Play-In stage where only 4 teams advances to the Group Stage where they will join the other 12 teams. After the Group Stage, 8 teams will advance to the Main Event Playoffs. Worlds 2022 will kick off on September 29 in Mexico City and will culminate on November 5 in San Francisco.
